Mix ingredients together in a large mixing bowl using either a paddle attatchment, electric beaters or a wooden spoon.
Dough should come together without being too crumbly. If the mixture is too dry, add 1 Tablespoon water to the dough at a time until it comes together.
Roll out dough to a half inch thickness using a regular rolling pin. Run a patterned rolling pin across the top of the dough to form an embossed pattern. Cut out desired shapes and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Take a toothpick and create a hole at the top for ribbon or twine.
Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes on one side. After 30 minutes, flip over and cook for another 30 minutes. Place on a cooling rack to cool. Thread twine or ribbon through the holes.
