Christmas touches — My living spaces

I am running behind this year. Usually I post earlier in the month, but this month has seemed to get away from me. I am going to show the rest of my living spaces in this tour. I have added Christmas touches all over my home this year, it is simple, traditional, vintage, and I love it.

I added some Christmas touches to my dresser. It is the first thing you see when you walk in my home, and I wanted it to have some Christmas cheer. I have my Merry Christmas sign, my nativity from Germany, and my santa note in my typewriter.

I put a Christmas pillow on the chair, and my Christmas windmill and Christmas trees on the shelf above it.

A throw and some pillows make the room feel cozy. I found this vintage TV at Hobby Lobby this year, and I love it.

I added pillows, and throws to give the room some cozy interest. We put the tree up in the corner, and some books and berries on the ottoman.

I hung the stockings on the shelf in the landing going downstairs. I added some garland and kept the old window there for interest.

In my other stairway, I kept the glass jars, added some berries to them, and added a candle and picture to make a fun Christmas mantle.

I kept the music room simple this year. We always add a village next to the piano, I added my nativity and some fun Christmas decor on my secretary.

That’s it…my Christmas 2017 home. It is always fun to decorate and warm up the house for Christmas!

I'm Erin, a busy mom of three, chauffeur, cook, housekeeper, and wanna be decorator. I love old movies, good books, and a daily trip to Lowes. We have recently bought a new home...one we are fixing up and changing everything. This blog is to record our renovating journey. This is not the first house we have done. Actually, it is our third. My husband and I love a project. Any project. We both love working on our home, have the same taste, (which is great), and love working and re purposing things on our budget. We can show you how to put together a high end and creative look without breaking the bank. Taking something old and recreating it into something new and exciting for any room is my passion. Hope you enjoy this decorating journey with us!
